​Legendary bassist Billy Cox, inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame, is synonymous with nearly every reference to Jimi Hendrix and the history of rock-and-roll. Since his army days, Billy has always had a special friendship with Jimi Hendrix. The spirits vibrated the same musical chemistry consolidated over the years, writing a new chapter in the history of music, culminating in the legendary Woodstock in 1969, celebrating in 2019 the fiftieth anniversary of the event. Since November 2008, Billy has been the sole survivor of both The Jimi Hendrix Experience and the Band Of Gypsys, regularly touring with the Experience Hendrix Tour alongside renowned musicians who frequent the world rock hall of fame.
